BevMax sommelier Michael “Ty the Wine Guy” Taiani will be bringing his wine pairing experience to the Exchange. After driving success at one of New York City’s leading wine retailers he joined BevMax. He passed one of the most challenging wine examinations on the first attempt to become accredited as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) by the Society of Wine Educators.
Although he has extensive knowledge of wines globally, he is a passionate expert on wines of New York’s Hudson Valley. He writes a column for Tastings, an upstate New York publication designed to guide wine aficionados. He’s created wine pairings for a number of celebrity chefs and their restaurants, including Michael Lomonaco (Windows On The World), Eric Rupert (Le Bernardin), and Rocco Dispirito (Union Pacific).
